Special Station Call : 8J1HAM

This is a special station for Hamfair.

“Pre PR operations” before Hamfair and “Event site operations.” on Hamfair's venue.

QSL : 1way Card from JARL BURO , do not send your card to 8J1HAM.

 

Operate on various frequencies and modes at the discretion of the operator.

Outside the event site, the station be mobile station, with a “/1” in the call sign so “8J1HAM/1”.

 Big Size

 

  • The each bands (40m, 20m, 15m, 10m, 6m, 2m, 70cm (including D-STAR), and 23cm) will actively operate in each time-part in plan.
  • The 2400 and 5600 MHz bands will be used for reception only due to possible interference with other communications.
  • The HF bands (40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands) will operated at 100 and 200 watts by remote operation. If a Class 3 or Class 4 amateur radio operator wishes to operate, it will be a trial operation.
  • The radio wave types to be operated will be A1A, A3E, F3E, and J3E in consideration of operation time, etc.
  • For remote operation, we will refrain from operating CW and digital mode due to the environment of the venue, etc.
  • Operation of the 2400MHz and 5600MHz bands may be suspended if interference is observed in other communications. Please understand this in advance.
  • The 20m band will be facing north (Hokkaido) on Saturday, 24th, and south (Kyushu) on Sunday, 25th, due to set the beam antenna.
  • In order to expand the opportunities of 8J1HAM operation for the youth and female Hams who visit the event, priority for it will be given to the slot from 11:30 to 11:55 on both days of the event, and the HF slot (remote operation) will be limited to 12:25. We look forward to receiving operational applications from youth and female hams.
  • In order to allow those who have not yet obtained an amateur radio license to experience amateur radio, we have scheduled hands-on operations (70cm band) from 12:30 to 12:55 and from 13:30 to 13:55 on both days of the event, so we hope to receive many responses.

There will be a capacity according to the time schedule.

Radio operators are required to have “JARL membership card” and “radio operator's license” in order to participate.
Experience operators who are not radio operators do not need to prepare for the card.
